About Us

Dr.Chandran's Ayurveda Hospital was established in 1972 by Dr.R.Chandrasekharan. The hospital was then known by the name Sri Dhanwantary Ayurveda Hospital (Nagarjuna). The increasing acceptability of the hospital and the resultant growth has prompted us to move to a new, bigger building with modern facilities. We have also given the hospital a new name - Dr.Chandran's Ayurveda Hospital, to honor the founder of the hospital, who first started an Ayurvedic treatment centre at Kallattumukku, a few decades ago.

The hospital has guided thousands of people to health, fitness and balanced life. As patients from far and near came knocking at the doors, the hospital needed to be expanded and it came true when a new hospital building with all modern amenities was opened on March 18, 2008.

The hospital now has a team of Ayurvedic physicians under the leadership of Dr R Chandrasekharan MD (Ay) (Rtd Prof, PG Center, Government Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram).

Treatments are available for all kinds of arthritis, joint problems, psoriasis, digestive problems, fractures, sports injuries, etc. Facilities for all kinds of Ayurvedic massage therapies, panchakarma treatments, etc are also available. A fully equipped Ayurvedic dental clinic offers all kinds of dental treatments and procedures.
