Kovalam Beach

Located 16 Km from Thiruvananthapuram city is a series of three crescent shaped beaches. The most prominent is the light-house beach, where tourists from all parts of the world enjoy sunbath, beach sports and water sports in good numbers. The silver sand, low tides and coconut palm lined beach is the biggest beach attraction in Kerala. Enjoy a leisurely sun bath or enjoy the deep blue sea from a distance, from the below the coconut palms that shade the beach from the sun.


Ponmudi Hill Resort

The highest point in South Kerala, Ponmudi mainly attracts local tourists – from Kerala and South India. The hill top emerges from the thick forests of Western Ghats. The word ponmudi translates into both 'golden hair' and 'golden crown'. It is the place to hang out, when you think it is time to enjoy some misty cool climate, breathtaking panoramic views and some time away from the urban life, Ponmudi Hill Station is the right choice.


Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple

The temple that has given Thiruvananthapuram its name, Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple is the most easily recognized landmark of Kerala's capital city. It is a marvelous seven-storeyed structure, with a series of several hundreds of intricate stone carvings adorning the interiors and exteriors. The temple pond, Maharaja's palaces, etc are also wonders of quaint beauty.


Napier Museum

Think pink architecture marvel combines Indian, Chinese, Mughal and British architectural styles. The campus is also home to two art galleries, including the one that displays paintings by Raja Ravi Varma. Zoological garden and natural history museum are also located within the same campus. The lush lawn that surrounds the Napier Museum building gives a cool atmosphere for everyone who is out seeking some fresh air.
